All of you are aware of The Harbinger by Jonathan Cahn.  If you have not read it, I recommend you do so.  It is a book that is written in story form, but the FACTS are real and you will understand so much more than what I am relating here.

I am talking about a vow that was uttered thousands of years ago which resulted in the downfall of the Israelites.  It is a vow of defiance against God.

The bricks are fallen down, but we will build with hewn stones: the sycomores are cut down, but we will change them into cedars.

America is on the same track that caused the fall of the Israelites.    That same vow was stated after 9/11, not once, but 3 times.  The last time it was spoken was by Obama in 2009.  (Daschle in 2001 and Edwards in 2004 spoke the other 2 times and look what happened to them.)

Once invoked there is no turning back, unless there is a drastic turn back to God.  You see the root of our problem is spiritual and no intervention taken politically, economically, or militarily will cause our problems to dissipate.  Those actions will only treat the symptoms, further mask the problems and ultimately produce another crisis or event that will prove to be catastrophic to our nation.  It’s like you weeding your garden, if you only cut off the top of the weed, the weed will continue to grow until you pull it out by the roots.  That’s what we must do; we have to go to the root to correct our problem.

Our current leadership is full of arrogance and defiance and is leading our nation further down the path away from God.  America WAS founded on Godly principles and now they are being stripped from our land.  There is only one thing that will result if this path is still followed.


Why?????  Because we are no longer are under the hedge of protection from God.

George Washington in his first inaugural address in the city of New York on April 30, 1789, stated these words:

“The propitious smiles of Heaven can never be expected on a nation that disregards the eternal rules of order and right which Heaven itself hath ordained.”

We are at the point where we are disregarding those rules of order and the blessings of God are being withdrawn from America.

    I just got this in an email from a friend and thought it was so timely given the topic of battling flu and coughs. I’m saving this one for future reference!

    Honey Onion Syrup – for cough and sore throat

    Last year, four of our family members came down with worst cough we’ve ever seen, and this syrup got us through. At first I thought it sounded weird, but it turned out to be easy, inexpensive, effective and safe. There is no oniony strong taste if you use good onions and honey…and a bit of lemon juice.

    2 medium organic onions
    organic honey (the darker the better, we used Aseda Wild Honey*)
    Peel the onions and slice into thin rings.
    Add enough organic honey to cover the onions.
    Cover and allow the sweetened onion to remain in the bowl on your counter for about 12-15 hours or overnight.
    The next day, there will be about a cup or more of sweet syrup in the bowl.
    Keep refrigerated in a sealed glass jar. Can last up to a month.
    This cough syrup contains a range of vitamins, nutrients and minerals – and the combination of the onion and the honey help fight infection, soothe sore throats and quiet a cough.
    A spoonful once every hour is not too much.

    I didn’t watch any of “it” either. Just couldn’t bear to ruin a good day by witnessing one traitor giving the oath of office to another traitor. TOO MUCH!! Then just awhile ago I turned on Fox’s Bret Baier only long enough to hear him say, “Obama began by swearing his allegiance to the Constitution.” That did it. Off it went. We are living in such an age of lying. We know it’s going on, so why unduly saturate ourselves with it?

    Dora and Cynka, it is great news to hear that hubbies are doing much better. Tell them to take it easy, lest there be a set-back. Hope you both can avoid the rotten bug.

    Dora, I’m always glad to hear of another who appreciates the great epic, Ben Hur. I saw it several times in the theater, and, yes, the chariot race is fantastic. Remember when Judah goes in to see Mesala (sp?) lying on his deathbed and M says, “It’s not over, Judah – It’s not over. Go to the valley of lepers. Your mother and sister can be found there”, or similar. Another favorite quote is after Judah meets Christ and he says, “I felt Him take the sword from my hand.” I do have the video also. It’s about time I saw it again. :)

    What does anyone think about Moooch’s new hairdo? What is she trying to do anyway?

    Well, I spent the day sewing and NOT watching any TV. I hope the ratings numbers come in and turn out to be the least-watched inauguration since forever. I heard on another blog that the girls wore SEIU purple dresses……a message that the best is yet to come? He already gave them GM. What’s next………is he going to give them the cities that the union members are robbing blind? As for MO’s hair….I think she just had a birthday…..maybe she’s freaking out about getting older? The bangs sure as heck don’t make her ass any smaller.

    cjzak – loved the quote about a dog’s heart. I sent it to my friend whose daughter’s Boxer was killed by exposure to the pesticide used in slug repellant. I hope it helps her. The daughter said “a day without a dog is worse than a day without Geronimo” so I expect she’ll be adopting or rescuing another pup soon.

    Dora – the comments on the WZ post about the rolling eyes are hysterical. Some sound almost Dr. Suess-ish.

    I watched that too Katie. Signed up for at least the 2week trial. Only bad part was I had to download Java which I did not want to do. I called the customer service poeple and asked if they knew of the danger of hacking with java, the big warning sentnoutnawhile ago. The woman I talked with said no and that many websites require it. She did not think it was a big deal. I am disabling it when I am not watching Beck.

    Good Morning Everyone. Well, it is my turn to get the snow. Not as much as some of you had, but there looks to be a few inches out there already. And it is cold! Bitterly cold. I don’t think there will be too much more snow but because of the cold temperature, what has already fallen is a sheet of ice. If the forecast is correct, we won’t see the temperature go above freezing until the weekend . I’m glad I have no place special to go today.
    Re the bangs. Because of obama’s interference in Egypt’s so called Arab Spring and his close friendship with Morsi, I’ve heard other bloggers sarcastically call him the Pharaoh. So, all I can think of concerning Michelle is that she wanted to dress up like Cleopatra. :-)

    I think this is quite telling. Tingles Matthews equated the republicans with the Christians in Lebanon who were once the majority and who now find themselves threatened by a flood of Muslim immigrants.

    Alright, I understand that he is reporting – happily I’m sure – that the republican party is shrinking. But why use that analogy? As I said – quite telling.

    Cabby – I do remember those scenes from Ben Hur very well. I still remember vividly the scene where Charlton Heston (Judah) visits the leper colony and hides from his mother and sister as he watches them. That’s probably because when I was young I learned in school all about Father Damien, the missionary who lived with and cared for the lepers in their colony in Hawaii when it was still a kingdom. It sounded like such a horrible disease that – at that young age – just the word leprosy itself filled me with fear. So obviously that scene both frightened and fascinated me. I remember the entire movie though because it was so very good.

    I wish they still made those Biblical films, but I’m afraid those days are gone. Even though they have their computers and their video games, the young people of today really don’t know what they’ve missed.

    Morning! Super cold here, 5 with a windchill of -13. No fun. We got a dusting of snow where I am but south of the city in the snowbelt/ski areas they are getting blasted with lake effect snow bands-the lake is much warmer than the air. Supposed to get 6-12 more inches of blowing snow—whiteouts and drifting. Yuck. Not sure if we are supposed to get much more snow in my neighborhood, but haven’t heard the weather report for tomorrow. Boxer is supposedly launching Hil’s campaign for 2016. No one in that room will ever truly investigate Benghazi just as no one on the House committee truly investigated Fast and Furious. BECAUSE THEY ARE ALL IN ON IT. The crime was from our side and they will never give themselves up. This is just disgusting to watch, fawning over a Clinton like royalty, but so predictable. GRRRRRRR.     My sister says I need “to ‘fess up.”

    When I went out to feed my goats this morning there were seven Mama deer and two little ones lined up on the other side of the fence waiting for their “welfare alfalfa.”

    I was stunned! They were just patiently waiting for their food, standing in a line, confident that I would arrive and meet their needs.

    I’ve decided that I am getting a first hand lesson in Keynesian/Socialistic economics.

    Right now I am milking two goats, one of whom is pregnant. I will stop milking her at the end of January. These two goats are barely providing enough milk for my family. (It is winter and milk production will explode in the spring with the arrival of the babies.)

    So the reality is two milking/working goats are providing the way for four other goats and nine welfare deer.

    Sounds like the good old USA to me. A few work so that many can eat for free.

    There is good news, though. I have learned from my mistake. The goats are going to be fed before I let them out in the morning. I can pull the plug now on the welfare deer. I must pull the plug on the welfare deer. Otherwise they will destroy our gardens and flower beds this spring and summer.

    I am going to rotate the goats so that every year I am milking three goats all through the winter months while the other three are pregnant. I am going to get this figured out eventually. wink

    I had good intentions when I began to feed the deer. Congress had good intentions when they began their many programs. And I am not just talking about human welfare programs, but corporate welfare as well. Military Industrial Complex anyone???

    We all know that the road to perdition is paved with good intentions. I am not going to borrow money to buy alfalfa for the “welfare deer.”

    It is past midnight and I hope this will make sense in the daylight. My good intentions of feeding the hungry deer will lead to my ruin if I keep it up. I can not afford it. The USA Government can not afford its spending, either. Yet it just keeps spending…

    I am fortunate I do not have to get re-elected. I do not need to bow to corporate or special interest groups. I can get my fiscal house in order. That’s why I stack precious metals.

    There is so much I am learning on this little farm. Every day I get a new lesson in living. Today’s lesson is all about welfare deer….

    This will happen in the U.S. during the next 4 years of the Obama administration. If he can quicken the death of the elderly Americans it helps solve the entitlement problems – Medicare and Social Security.

    The former prime minister called the elderly who are unable to feed themselves “tube people,” then proceeded to say the elderly should be allowed to “hurry up and die” to reduce the burden on a country tasked to pay for their medical expenses.

    I loved the goat and deer welfare story. One thing the author did not really mention is the power and use of charity freely given– even if we have little to share— as Jesus wants us to. Those deer are responding to a need they may not be able to meet. They found a source of food to help feed their little ones, that they patiently waited for, getting the leftovers that spilled out of the pen. Now if it is food that is spilled, then why not allow them to eat it if they want, out of charitable goodness? Can this person not spare the little bit that spills out? I think Jesus would love for that to happen. The deer aren’t takers as such, more just opportunists who found a way to help themselves eat. They are not stealing or demanding anything. I would allow them to eat the spillage if it was me and find another way to cut a little cost from my limited budget. I would share with those less fortunate for the winter.

    Now if the deer start demanding their ‘free stuff’ or start laying around and not working their jobs or taking care of their kids, then different story. Cut them off.

    The calculus of who lives and who dies is a cruel one, because the non-productive always, inevitably, lose out. Under Obamacare this will occur through expedients of government-run medical panels recommending things like “women under 40 don’t need mammograms” and other policy-enabling medical decisions by Progressive lap-dog government experts about what comprises “reasonable and necessary” medical care. These decisions will, and indeed are right now being made by Progressive government lackeys in the Obama administration.”

She lets her goats out of their stalls in her barn in the morning, and puts the alfalfa for their breakfast. One morning a single deer crossed the field and joined the goats. Katie Rose thought it was so sweet that the goats and deer were eating together in harmony. This worked fine for a few days, but the deer that first discovered Katie Rose’s free breakfast then invited one of her pals. Word apparently spread, so now we have the “welfare deer” story. Because of the drought and the shortages caused by it, KR had to pay more than twice what she’d paid the previous year for her winter supply of alfalfa. Totally different story if they came into the pen and helped themselves. So now we the NY taxpayer, on top of everything else we pay for, can also pay for the college education of people here illegally and they probably will qualify to get into those colleges with lower averages than regular students because, of course, they didn’t have the opportunities to get an education as good as others. They will also take places at these colleges from legal NY residents who would have to pay full tuition out of their own pockets anyway. When Obama introduces his own version of the Dream Act, we will pay double for these illegals. Cuomo is on a campaign for Pres. that knows no bounds. He will try to outdo Obama on everything he can from now until 2016 on the backs of all NYers. This state will be in shreds by then and the whole country will be right behind it. It is very bleak indeed.

    Honestly, I want out of this state ASAP but I cannot, won’t, leave my granddaughters and my son is such a clueless liberal he will probably think all this is just wonderful so he will be fine staying here. This whole situation is beyond ridiculous. But if Obama has his way the whole country will be like this to insure the Dems/progs have a big voting base so they never lose an election again.

    If we don’t fight this we will never be free to live our lives as we choose ever again in our lifetimes. We need to start a movement for a new party right now. Plenty of time to get it moving before the next Pres. Election. People, esp. conservatives, will leave the Repubs in droves and I bet we would get independents and some Dems too. It’s an optimum time now to do something, when people are getting worried about things like the gun control laws. It would make a difference IMO, and the old meme that it will just insure a Dem victory is no longer applicable because they are on the road to insuring they never lose again anyway. We sit back, lose at the ballot box, because we don’t turn out, and they forge ahead being proactive in cementing their agendas. And they are winning. We need to do something out of the box and aggressive and we need to do it now. I am writing an email to Sarah Palin and Jim DeMint about this topic as soon as I get a minute to compose one that is good enough to send. They are out of elected positions but still in the fight, so maybe they would have the courage to do something like this.

    Good Morning Everyone. The cold continues. It is only 8 degrees right now. Yesterday the high for the day was 20. The heat is running in the house, but at times it feels as if the cold air is coming in through the walls. The windows are ice cold to the touch. The snow that fell the other day is still covering the ground. It’s too cold to melt. When I heard the sanitation trucks roll by earlier, I felt sorry for those poor men who have to work in this weather.

    At least Hubby and I have the luxury of being retired and neither of us have to walk to the station and catch the train to NYC. Actually, we haven’t left the house in the last 2 days. It’s just too cold and slippery out there. I will have to go out today though. There is some shopping that needs to be done. I dread it.

    I know it can’t last forever. The frigid temperatures will end and return to normal eventually. But I have to admit that on mornings like this, springtime seems so far away.

    cj what is happening to NY is very sad. I actually thought Cuomo was more moderate when he was elected, but he has turned out to be a madman! It would seem as if he is purposely out to destroy the state. First there was marriage between homosexuals without the consent of the voters. Then his promise to create the abortion center of the world right here in this state. Now he will be filling our neighborhoods with illegals, while he also wants to confiscate our guns. And we will be expected to pay for all this.

    During the past decade most of my family and close friends have moved away. Tom’s siblings are in Florida and Texas; my brothers are now in Virginia and Las Vegas. Tom’s aunt, uncle and cousins in Brooklyn are the only relatives left in the state and we don’t see them that often.

    I don’t know what to do. It’s all so depressing. I love living on Long Island. My area is still the same as it always was – residential, safe, friendly. We can’t see the effects of what’s happening around us, but I’m sure it will all hit us soon.

    The only political movement at all is a group of Long Islanders who are promoting secession from NYS. I would like that, but this movement has been dragging on for at least 20 years. Maybe Cuomo’s latest actions will speed things up. Either that, or the entire country will begin splitting up and breaking apart. I do think something is going to happen. I always say that the first state to secede will become my new home. In the meantime, I’m just waiting. And praying for some answer.

    Dora, we had alot of people over the years try to get the secession movement going here too.Apparently the way the nYS constitution is written it would be almost impossible to do. There is an Assemblyman on our local talk radio right now—WBEN 930–who is talking about just that and the gun control law repeal. Name is Dave DiPietro. Good man and hopping mad about the violations of the Constitution that is happening in Albany.

    You can probably listen on your computer if you want. They are on for another half hour or so. He mentioned such a thing as Home rule which the counties can get and it allows them to tell the state No on laws or bills that they do not want to enforce. Kind of like nullification I guess.I never heard that before but maybe you can tell your local people who are looking at secession to look into theis Home rule thing.

    Since we’re all complaining about the cold weather, I thought this might help put things in perspective. This reminds me of the last winter I lived in Chicago – we had close to 50 consecutive days of below freezing temps, and night temps dip into the -30 degrees range for days and days and days. Windchills were -75, and we had to take shifts to go out and run the cars parked outside every 2-3 hrs. to keep them from locking up. It was miserable.

    3. Massive preparedness drills for just such an event, immediately prior to it’s occurrence.

    4. There had been no mass shootings in Australia before a concerted effort for gun control developed, then there were several. After strict gun laws were enacted, there have been no more mass shootings, despite many Australians refusal to comply and the fact guns are readily available on the black market.

    5. After a failed prior attempt at restrictive legislation, a prominent official had stated “We won’t get uniform gun regulation until we have a mass shooting in Tasmania”.

    6. Originally pled not guilty, but after a couple of lawyer changes pled guilty, so there was no trial.

    7. Trampling of the constitution and states rights, just like here.

    8. One of the two assault rifles he allegedly used had been previously confiscated by the police, proven by it’s serial number.

    9. Evidence and investigation were mishandled.

    There are things I have forgotten, due to not having watched this video for some time, but I think the points above are pretty accurate. It is a long watch at 2 1/2 hours but comes in two parts. If you go to it on You Tube you can find other videos on the same subject.

    A bit of really good news which I just heard of today (From an e-mail which went to spam) – A U.S. District Court in D.C. has issued a permanent injunction to IRS to stop the bizarre regulation of return preparers which began a couple of years ago. It never was about quality control but rather C.O.N.T.R.O.L. and crony capitalism. Of course, IRS has filed a motion asking for the lifting of the injunction until the ruling can be appealed. IRS admits that they have collected $150 million from this program and have only expended $50 million to administer it. They are boo-hooing over the fact that over 160 IRS employees who were involved in the program will lose their jobs. Ha! This should work out okay for the agency, because they seem to be understaffed in other departments. It is taking much longer for them to respond to communication of any sort, phone or otherwise.

    I have a letter already drafted to ask for a waiver from having to travel to a testing site, due to lack of mobility, and will go ahead and send it just in case. Knowing what the justice system is like now, I won’t be really assured until after it goes to the appellate level. The Institute for Justice was the organization which took the case. It is entirely possible that some class-action lawsuit(s) may be filed against IRS by tax preparers to recoup the money. Personally I had to spend about $250 last year, and would be facing nearly $300 at least this year; plus, IRS can raise fees anytime they desire. At least for awhile I feel better.

    An AR-15, or the so-called “Assault Weapon”, was not used in the school shooting. The shooter even tried weeks earlier to buy a rifle but was turned down in the background check. So he had to kill his Mother to steal her rifle. There were initial reports, right after the shooting, that police found the AR-15 in his car, NOT IN THE SCHOOL. The rifle was not used. The shooter went into the school with 4 handguns, NOT an Assault Rifle as the media has charged.
    I’d sure like to know what type of handguns he used.

    (Reuters) – The Bank of England is prepared in principle to become the first G7 central bank to enter into a foreign exchange swap agreement with China, opening the door to another substantial step in moves to liberalise the yuan currency.

    The bank’s Executive Director for Banking Services, Chris Salmon, told a meeting of senior bankers in London that the move was aimed at underpinning a developing offshore market in yuan trade out of London that Britain is keen to encourage.

    It would be the latest in a string of bilateral currency agreements that China has signed in the past three years to promote use of the yuan in trade and investment.

    Thanks for the information Katie. I think it’s great that Sarah will be appearing at the Terri Schiavo memorial. I really wish I could be there to share the occasion. Bobby Schindler is such a wonderful man. He speaks at every Life March keeping his sister’s memory alive and reminding the people that pro-life also means fighting against euthanasia. In Terri’s case it was just plain murder!

    I very much admire Archbishop Chaput. He was the Archbishop of Denver before he was transferred to Philadelphia. I’d love to see him speak, as well as visit the Basilica. There is really only one thing stopping me. Call me a coward if you wish, but I’m just too nervous to spend the day in Philadelphia. Even if I went with a group I’d be afraid. Nobody that I know would bring a car to that city. The ‘roaming gangs’ vandalize cars just for the fun of it. It wouldn’t be safe traveling there by train either and having to walk the streets of the city. Sadly, the City of Brotherly Love has become just one more city filled with hatred and rage and is too dangerous to visit. It’s such a shame.

    cj I didn’t know there was a secession movement in Upstate New York. That’s interesting. I’ve never heard of your Assemblyman, but I think I like him. I missed the radio show yesterday, but I will surely look up his name. I’m interested in this Home Rule that he is talking about. I’m so glad we have him and a few others like him in the State Assembly. At least they won’t allow these violations to take hold without a fight. I hope.

    In the meantime I have another bit of unhappy news for you. I read in yesterday’s NY Post that Cuomo is proposing a 21% increase in the state’s minimum wage! Can you imagine what that would do? So many small businesses would have to close. I don’t know what could be wrong with this man! He is being purposely destructive.

    Speaking of the New York Post – their front page yesterday has already become an instant classic. It will join the others in their Hall of Fame. :-)

    cj those pictures you posted of the Mass are beautiful. It is heartening to know that so many people came out on such a cold night to attend this vigil. I hope there are a lot of people today who are willing to brave this weather and attend the march. Of course, if it’s up to the media, we won’t ever know how many people attended. Maybe this year we will be able to see some pictures of the event on Twitter.

    I do wish I could go, but at least I will be attending a morning Mass being celebrated at my own church. Better get going. BBL

    Morning Tribe – now that the front is here my headache is gone. Another balmy 24 degrees and believe it or not, we are not getting any icy weather out of this. All around us, even in New Bern, but we are going to get rain. I would rather have that than ice on the roads.

    Cuomo’s 21% increase will just cause small businesses to lay off more people as if zerocare isn’t enough.

    I have my doubts whether or not that pic of zero with the fly is real. But the stench of evil can bring out the flies. It’s a wonder that the halls on capital hill are not full of them.

I for one feel that an EMP event will occur at some point in time in our future. May not be nation wide, but it will definitely target certain areas initially because I feel it will be perpetrated by the PTB (false flag). But if WWIII breaks out then we could possibly experience such an event that will affect the entire nation.

    A little warmer here today—upper teens. We got about an inch or two of snow yesterday morning–right during rush hour. Very messy and slow going. But it really wasn’t much, just very cold (5) and the sun was out by noon. I am hearing temps in the 40′s next week and rain. Very up and down weather for us this year. Jim has a cold and is very grumpy. He has no patience with things like colds. I get to listen to him grumble. Well he’s at work so I’m hoping he is not feeling too bad.

    This is very interesting. I never heard about this book and how relevant it is to what we are going through. I also never realized how bad the Phoenix area and the border south of there are being overrun by Mexican cartels and supposedly their military! Wow if this is true, then the Feds are so violating their constitutional duty to protect our borders and country. Why aren’t these Americans living there taking matters into their own hands and ignoring the Federal directives?     I just got off the phone with my husband. He’s in Raleigh, NC and told me to tell jr “hello”. :) He said it’s snowing there right now, and as soon as his truck is loaded he’s on his way to Ohio. Yuck………I checked and the roads are in awful condition. And he’ll be driving at night. The company he works for usually doesn’t send team drivers into areas with bad road conditions, but they are doing that today. :(

    Well, we are getting covered in ice. Wasn’t suppose to get anything but rain. Just went out and my metal railing is covered with a glaze as are the leaves on the shrubbery. So far the roads are not bad, but don’t know about the bridges. Needless to say I am not heading out for anything.

    My daughter and her fiance both are stuck on the bridges headed in and out of New Bern. He’s on one side and she’s on the other. She has been sitting there for over an hour and wrecks are in front of her and behind her.

    Praise the Lord, my daughter just now got home. Now if we can get her fiance home after he gets off work (with my truck) which will be in another hour, all will be well at my end. I pray for all of those out there in this mess. I would have rather seen it snow because at least there is some traction. Just looked outside and everything is coated in a layer of ice. The trees look like diamonds sparkling from the outside yard light. Nasty for sure. Glad the wind is not blowing as there would definitely be limbs down. Just praying we don’t lose power.

    The story about the $$ withdrawals came from Bloomberg two days prior to the RT article. There’s been a lot of buzz on the financial blogs about it. Bloomberg speculates on why it’s happening, but there’s no clear answer.

    If you didn’t know about all the financial shenanigans that went on prior to the “attacks” on 9/11 this is a good a place as any to start:
